Georgian 9ct gold pearl mourning pendant gold initials

An antique Georgian 9ct rose gold brooch to pendant conversion, a delightful mourning piece with a halo of dainty seed pearls set around lovingly plaited hair, laid over with the gold initials WB. The back is also engraved with the initials WB, the pin and clasp have been removed leaving a smooth back and so wearable. A touching piece of jewellery history laden with sentiments past of the beloved in whose memory it was made, we will never know the history but we can imagine. The chains and clips in the photos are not for sale.
