Jewellery care;

All of my jewellery is pre-loved so it will show signs of wear, each piece has condition noted in the description but it may require more care and attention than modern jewels. Certain pieces of jewellery can be delicate and they don't want to help you wash up, do the gardening, change a tyre, chop the vegetables, or go swimming with you. Opals, pearls, emeralds amongst other gems really do not appreciate being immersed in water. Most items will reward your extra loving care with an extended life, if you are unsure how to care for your jewellery there is plenty of information online or please contact me. I suggest keeping each piece in its own box to prevent damage from other jewellery. All items are sold as seen with no guarantee of ongoing integrity.

Sizing and repairs;

I do not offer a resize service as this is best done with your hand at a jewellers to get the best fit, and I do not offer a repair service.

Testing of gemstones and metals;

All my jewellery is tested to ensure metal purity, using a variety of electronic and visual aids also to identify gemstones, I do not hold any qualifications in gemmology except many years of experience in the jewellery trade. All measurements of set gemstones are approximate due to limitations of settings, with no guarantee of actual size, and my items do not come with certificates of diamond grading or insurance valuations unless specified in the listing. Please do contact me if you need more info, I can also provide an insurance valuation for my pieces if required at a cost of £30.

Boring stuff over, let's get back to the jewels!!
